Now that you have seen what services we can provide you, it’s time to meet the family behind the business. 

Born in San Diego, Gunnar went to the University of Santa Barbara on a baseball scholarship, ultimately becoming a member of the Padres franchise. In San Diego, he worked for his father, also a painting contractor, as a foreman focusing on residential and commercial projects. After his baseball career, Gunnar then moved to Wyoming and eventually ventured out on his own; building his business from the ground up with his wife. He has 20 years of on-the-wall paint experience and has since expanded his knowledge to other paints and coatings; epoxy, direct-to-metal, stains, lacquers, and eco-friendly products. Living in Wyoming, extreme weather and climate created a variety of obstacles that like to interfere with these sensitive tasks, which he can overcome and master professionally.

After moving to Wyoming he met and married his wife, Melissa. After 11 years in the banking industry, she has left her supervisory role to take on a more hands-on position with the business.

Together they have two adventurous children, and as a family have a passion for the outdoors and baseball! 

The family of four decided to pack up their life living in the mountains to move to Texas to grow a thriving business and allow their children to experience Texas’s excellent education, faith, and sports. 

They are looking forward to becoming a part of the community and exploring what the great state of Texas is all about!
